I am living witness of the power of speaking in tongues. This is Unreal!! Holy Spirit has been on me today urging to Pray in the Spirit all day, without ceasing.. So I decided this is what i will aim as a goal for 2024. Years ago when I was praying desperately for my husband who was in the hospital with cancer. The Lord showed me huge 88’s, which were huge powerful canons used in war, turning and pointing in the direction for my prayers in tongues. Powerful!

When I first received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit about 20 years ago, I walked through this experience. I was going to Bible School full time & had no medical or dental insurance. My wisdom tooth was infected at that time. The city/county offered free dental services for low income people. At that time it was pretty low, but under God's control. I went to get that infected tooth removed. During the procedure the dentist was having a hard time removing that bad tooth & had to stop for a minute. Well the Holy Spirit asked me to pray in tongues. I asked how since I couldn't move my tongue or my lips. So when the dentist came back to remove that tooth, I started praying in the Spirit from my inner parts & my mind. I felt it come from my gut/belly & continued until it finally was removed by the dentist. It wasn't but a few minutes when she did it. Afterwards my mind & my understanding came that I should have prayed in the Spirit the whole time, not just when a problem comes.

I remember the night God gave me the gift of tongues on Dec 19th 2013. He told me don’t be afraid and I felt the need to go to my bed room and pray and before I knew it I started speaking in tongues. I started speaking words I’ve never heard of and there was a thick accent. There was water flowing from both my hands. It was unbelievable. I’m so thankful he filled me after I waited on him for years.

Sid! I see so many different kinds of comments! But I don’t care! I have been a Christian for many years! I have Gifts from the Holy Spirit one of those gifts being discernment. Sid for years I could never understand why I never received the gift of Tongues! I dream spiritual dreams I also have the gift of discernment where I have actually seen people speaking publicly in another tongue but I knew it was not from the Holy Spirit! I understand that when you speak in Tongues go into your room and that is between you and God! Sid! Today was my day after being a Christian for so many years! The Holy Spirit fell upon me! Thank you Sid Roth, this really bore witness with my spirit.
I realized years ago when I pray for others and specifically when a face or concerning thought comes, people I encounter and issues throughout the day, my prayers end with, “In Jesus’ Name, ” and that was my finish. And I pray in person for many people as the Spirit leads me. One day, after my prayer for a couple who’s son was a drug addict, I finished that Holy Ghost Word of Knowledge pray with my normal, “in Jesus’ Name.” I guess I never realized this and the woman made the comment that she’s wondered why I don’t ever say ‘amen.’ I never thought about it, and wondered if that was weird. I asked the Lord why I do it & should I fix it with ‘amen?’ Two days later out of the blue He answered and said, “I never say amen because I never stop talking to my Father. That’s praying without ceasing.” Great answer My Lord and Savior! Now I have another way to pray without ceasing, continually in tongues throughout the day!
