My Loncin 212cc blew a head gasket after a few hours of running on my wood chipper (like hc10).
I wonder why that happens and if it happen often with these engines?

It’s a Chonda, a clone of a Honda GX160. It takes the same spark plug, oil, and air filter as a Honda.

I have this engine on a cobra chipper how can you tell if you have put the correct amount of oil in it as I haven't got a level surface to stand it on to fill it and the chipper doesn't stand level.
