I don’t know where this occurred but most police in smaller cities receive six weeks of training. Hardly time enough to become experts on law or even policy. Didn’t stop this cop from showing how little he knew. Badges are necessary but given to the wrong person they can be dangerous to the people that police are hired to protect.

If an officer fails to identify themselves they should be subject to investigation for impersonation of an officer and be out on unpaid leave until it's investigated by the video owner.
