I use these alot but I use the pex 3/4 crimped. It's cleaner and no cuts😊

I wonder if this would work on the hose of a handheld shower. The leak is from the hose not where the hose connects to the shower head.

That hose clamp fitting eventually will slice your hand.

Don't use worm drive hose clamps. Use either clamptite wire tool and wire or single ear clamps/pinch clamps. It'll never leak

How do I know this fitting size? I'm supposed to get, I have a 5/8 inch. A hundred foot hose, but the 58 inch the thing wouldn't fit

Bad advice! The hose clamp doesn’t work. I have tried this way. I tightened two hose clamps, then after usage for a while, the replacement male connector popped out under water pressure. It is better to clamp the hose with the knuckle style clamp.

That hose clamp will harass you every time you tighten/loosen the fitting to the tap. Buy a new hose; not much more expensive than the parts you used.
