Join us for a breathtaking walk to the top of Cheddar Gorge, one of the most popular tourist destinations in England. Cheddar Gorge is 400 feet deep and 3 miles long and we’ll walk its entire length and share some of the interesting facts along the way. Like the Discovery of the 10,000-year-old Cheddar Man skeleton, unearthed within the caves, shedding light on our prehistoric ancestors.

We’ll start early in Cheddar Village and make our way to the starting point of the Cheddar Gorge cliff-top trail. Bring some sturdy boots with you, it's quite a hike!

In our video, we show you what to expect on this walk and introduce you to some breathtaking panoramic views of the gorge's towering limestone cliffs and lush countryside.

Once we navigate Jacobs Ladder 274 steps, (downhill thankfully), we can explore Cheddar a picturesque village with a rich history. It is home to several historic buildings, including the Cheddar Caves, which are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area, but we won’t be going inside on this trip! Find out why?

The village is charming with lots of tearooms, restaurants and riverside walks to enjoy. Savour the renowned Cheddar cheese, crafted from the region's rich milk and renowned for its distinctive taste. We try and buy some of the cave-aged cheddar and it's amazing!

Come with us to Cheddar Gorge and see what you are missing!

Thanks guys❤ You did that treacherous walk for all of us! The cheese shop is definitely worth a visit, but the gorge hike is for heartier souls. Thanks for showing us😊😊😊

Thanks for taking us along on your walk. We watch from New York State and so enjoy your channel, as we don’t visit the UK as often as we’d like.

The fog made it just right for the season - a gorgeous autumn walk. MMM that shop made me hungry ! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Glad you did the walking and we could sit back and watch it all from our easy chair.

So glad you guys took that steep walk, so we don't have to. I'm exhausted just watching you. 😉

Usually I am able to see your latest videos in the very early hours of Sunday morning here in Australia, as I rarely sleep and am often wide awake, sitting at my computer from around one am. This time I missed this episode, but at lunch whilst watching on the smart TV there you were.
Another wonderful video of an amazing limestone gorge, and scenery not at all spoiled by your dreary, damp weather.
Great seeing will enjoying the walk while narrating.

Great tour guys, the walk was tricky, glad you both got down safely. Would have loved to visit that cheese shop and I wouldn’t have been able to walk past the Xmas shop. 🎄🎅🧑‍🎄🎁Lovely village.

Another amazing gorgeous area of England. If I lived there I would have to have a campervan as I would be visiting many places that you show us. Thank you and take care =-).

Another amazing video thank you. Another one of my favourite places I last went in 2009. Hoping to make it there next year. You both deserved a medal getting around the walk.

Thanks! Interesting topography! Had no idea that such a dramatic countryside existed in that area. Must visit, but in nicer weather. Well done🎉
