Your content is most certainly not rubbish, far from it. The numbers can be frustrating, but usually the best thing is doing what you do and love the most. Not wishing to be a hypocrite, but making content according to what someone else thinks you should do is no good. Passion for what you love doing is the key, because viewers invest their time in you, the honest, likeable, down to earth, and charismatic Richard Vobes. However, I do very much miss Bald Explorer, and Chit Chat. Thanks for taking me for this walk around Worthing today, I enjoyed that.

I always enjoyed the wandering around interesting little churches, villages and South downs vids the most. But it's your channel mate... go in the direction you personally feel most inspired by. Passion for what you do is key I think.

That was a nail on the head moment Richard when you said people are just nosey. Remember in the early years of Channel 4s Big Brother. . . . Thousands of people were tuning in to watch people do nothing. . . It was obsessive and just being nosey in case we missed something. Those random vlogs are a big hit so keep doing them.

Watching from Canada. Particularly enjoy the historic perspective of so many of your videos.

There are a plethora of 'van life' videos — you'd think the market would be saturated but they are mostly doing well with subscribers. You have a van; have you considered spreading your wings around the UK? As you are passionate about home-farming and sustainability have you thought about a UK van tour, meeting such people along the way and looking at what they have done to escape the rat-race and join the Good Life? That would be a fresh angle on the vanlife vlog. You could combine it with local walks in the area you are covering. That will take plenty of research and planning but could help you get to the magical 50k subscribers. Sponsorship is key. Look for companies that are relevant to materials used in setting up homesteads and gardening etc. I think it would freshen things up, Richard.

I LOVE everything you do Richard! I think my favourite ones are where you are with your friends and get a bit giddy and when you read old folk stories. I love watching you and Julia too - the boating holiday, the little comedy skits, the walks. Basically I am just invested in you as I don't know you but I think.of you as a friend

Richard, we're living in very strange times. I think ultimately you need to just view the video making as a vocation and enjoy the process rather than result. I think when you get into the headspace obsessing over what people think and why you're not reaching as many people then you've lost.... I think vocation is the way we need to view life now. Else we'll all end up depressed or catatonic.

I've been watching your wonderful videos for years now. I enjoy most of them especially the exploring, the home ones, the long format beautifully shot ones, chatty ones..I've told countless folks about you too.
But I used to be able to keep up with the videos. Now there are too many for me to be able to watch them all and I feel left behind and missing parts of the background story. As I can't keep up I feel myself slipping away. I now just dip in now and then. Usually now on the tv which measns I'm less likely to comment.
Does anyone else feel like this?

I actually watch a lot of people who do the walking vlogs with no edits and just talking along the way, so I'm perfectly fine with this format as well. But I'm really loving the unusual tales you have so carry on. :-)

Richard! Your output is remarkable. Your content interesting, your humour - keep it coming! Energy, ideas, inspiration, stories, readings, I could go on. Nobody else I have seen on here produces the volume of quality videos as you, and the enjoyment, passion and zest for life you have certainly shows in your wonderful work. This video is fantastic, I hope you manage to keep all your incredible ideas going and do the new daily vlogs project. Good luck!!

A lovely jaunt around old Worthing. Library Passage is named after Stamford's Marine Library, of which only the ground floor is remaining. It used to be three stories high, but 50 years of neglect resulted in the upper stories being removed.

I’m relatively new to your channel Richard and enjoying them very much. The simple chatty ones and longer adventure ones equally. Thank you 😊

Hi i tried to leave a comment on your latest vlog up on Cisbury but comments are turned of...?? Just wanted to say I really enjoyed your recent walkabouts discovering whats happening around you as you walk!! We moved back to Worthing because its where we felt comfortable as we lived here 20 odd years ago... there are still quiet pockets to discover and you are the man to find them!! X
