Europe also had a similar release with Yoshi’s Island. It also came with the player’s guide and some great artwork on the box. And Earthbound released that way everywhere.

Okay that's really cool that it came with a guide that actually shows you where all the items are. Getting all the items is definitely something I could never do. I mean I was quite good at getting a large portion of them I'd still get the plasma beam which technically isn't actually requirement to beat the game normally but it's great to have. But I'm always missing a whole lot of missiles, and especially super missiles and power bombs. I believe I have gotten almost every energy tank but I think I've only been able to get about half of the reserve tanks

I love Super Metroid I taught my 12 year old son pretty much everything to this game but he came up with so much more than me proud of him he absolutely loves Metroid games he's been playing these games for many years now ❤

I have loved Samus since the first day my friend gave me Super Metroid. Metroid Prime is my favorite game to play when I’m sad (and I’m a 57 year old old lady, still loving my fast cars, dirt bikes and video games 🔥💨)
And yup! Unfortunately America doesn’t get the same awesome blind boxes as European versions
