cognitive psychology is thé study of the conscious mind processes to reach understanding and comprehension .this strategy of studying necessarily develop intelligence .by this process the information is treated so as to become operational and practical. the information enter into a chain of cause and effect where certain connections between itself and other known things are found so as raising new connections capable of creating new influences and powers on any field of endeavour .this is how artificial or real intelligence is built and givi g new powers to do many things or understand further .

in most schools in the world teachers still give and spread informations to the students and they are supposed to know them meaning that they just have to remember them .to know an information does not mean at all that we are capable to use this information to produce determined effects .to do so you must do a study or analysis or investigation to find out in your thinking processes one or several links or interactions between this information and other already known informations that enter into a succession of things that are articulated logically in a coherent way in a system of influence. this is the ways scientific people operate in their research. memory by itself won't teach you very much .real understanding transform the information into useable and practlcal means of actions . it is always empowering !! here is an example I take a car engine and I give you a precise description of each part without exception including their position in space and localisation. I give you the function of each one
now are you capable to explain how and why it works in a coherent way ? so as to be capable to make a diagnosis when the engine has a problem ?? and really find the cause ! where it comes from ??
so if you know the theory and are not capable of putting it into practice .and enjoy many new advantages then these informations are useless because they cannot change your life .
