I bought a 2023 Outlander PHEV in SEL trim and have had the car for 8-months. Absolutely love it. I charge on only 120V in my garage and most of the time it charges overnight. In the summer I get an EV range of 75-80kms and in the winter 60-65kms. I use no gas at all if I am doing city driving. Usually put in half tank of gas every 2-3 months! Love the interior and overall comfort.

I bought one of these this May and have been surprisingly more pleased than I thought. At first we bought it because nobody else had any inventory and I was not going to wait 18 months or longer for a Toyota or a Kia/Hyundai. Took a road trip from Ontario to the US Midwest last month and I have yet to put any gasoline in it since returning 6 weeks ago! Currently have just shy of 5000 kms on it and I've filled the gas tank only 3 times, including our road trip, and still have a quarter tank! Been averaging 4.7 liters/100km, so far. With remote control from the iPhone App I can fully heat or cool this vehicle up on the house current so it's ready to go when I'm ready to do. Very pleased, especially with not having to buy much gas for it.

I have a deep appreciation for Mitsubishi. The Eclipse and the 3000GT were status symbols when I was growing up. I’m glad they’re turning their luck around.

I had a rav4 prime for 2 years. Now I have a 2023 outlander phev. Rav4 is the king for power and efficiency but I much prefer outlander's interior, awd system and warranty. Also I like the emergency 3rd row. Overall I'm verry pleased with the outlander. Fuel efficiency is not that good but I don't care because majority of the time I run EV.

I bought this car last month and am very happy with it. I average like $50 for 1, 000 km and have already done 5, 000km. It’s a really good car at a great value for base model.

Working for Mitsubishi for a few uears opened my eyes to them and I really hope the company succeeds and doesn't just collapse into Nissan.
Also Nissan was very far behind in EV and Mitsubishi has been doing tones of EV R&D. So they are kinda the head of that in Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi Alliance. The PHEV Outlander is way more Mitsubishi then then gas Outlander. The PHEV powertrain is all Mitsubishi, where the gas powertrain is all Nissan.

I got the Exceed trim in Australia last month. Have driven 800km and havent used gas yet. This car is amazing. My trip is always around 50KM and all are in EV.
Was contemplating between Rav4 Hybrid and Outlander Phev, glad i bought outlander. Its sooo much better in everyway. Interior, fuel consumption, and quietness in ride

I’ve now had my 2023 Outlander PHEV for a few months. I love it! So economical. I’ve done 2500 kms so far and have only used 13 litres of petrol!

You can get the range up to 82 kms on EV only if you switch it into eco mode and use one pedal driving.

I live in New Zealand and It costs me about $3 to fully charge it up… so I’m spending about $17-20 a week on electricity… and our petrol prices are $3.10 per litre! So I’m saving over $500 a month if I had the same vehicle in ICE mode.

But when you want to drive to more remote areas, where charging stations are few and far between, there’s no range anxiety.

These are very popular in the Knoxville, TN area. I pass dozens of them daily anytime I’m driving around the area. It’s a good looking vehicle honestly.

Keep in mind this is the only plug in hybrid with a L3 charging and since it's CHAdeMO, you can get an adapter to generate power externally for a house or something else so you can use the car as a gas generator for a house if needed.

Maybe the reason you don't feel the CVT is because there is no CVT 😅

Have one, got it in 2023 and absolutely LOVE it. Still trying to figure out the best drive modes to get the best mileage but with my work having L2 chargers, manage to go at least 4 weeks without seeing a gas station and my commute is about 33km straight highway driving.

Love what Mitsubishi did with this car, I own a 2011 Outlander and still drives with 145k miles and the 2.4 engine. super reliable.

After a year waiting for a Tucson or Sportage PHEV, we did buy an Outlander PHev. Great car. Love it

I've owned Mitsubishi's for 30 years. I can't wait to own the Outlander again. This one has some great features and I was looking at full EVs but after this video I'm gonna go with this instead.... Thanks for a great and informative video!!!

I was on the RAV4 prime waiting list for 9 months and I got so frustrated and just happened to drop by a Mitsubishi dealership and took the Outlander PHEV.

Two weeks later I found a Ash black Outlander PHEV GT- Premium in my garage.

The best purchase I made and 6700Kms in till date with just 2 gas top ups!!!

Absolutely fantastic review! 🌟 You really shed light on why the Outlander is such a hidden gem in the automotive world. It's incredibly underrated, and your review brilliantly captures its unique blend of style, performance, and practicality. Excellent choice Yuri, 🚗💨

Watching this on repeat so Yuri keeps his job haha. Love the throwback Blue Jays jersey btw!

And also can't say enough how much we appreciate you guys for continuing to do reviews of mainstream commuter vehicles, even if it is a bit of time past the embargo. You guys are great at noticing the little things and it's helpful to be able to watch your videos before going in to look at or test drive vehicles ourselves.
