Bluebird
Bluebird opened its doors in 1953, just a few years after young entrepreneur Les Saussey started selling popcorn and then potato chips at the Western Springs Speedway in Auckland.
Les started out small but the popularity of his Bluebird chips quickly grew and he soon expanded his range of flavours to include Salt & Vinegar and Chicken. In those days you could buy a packet of Bluebird chips for 9 pence!
Now, Bluebird is one of the biggest snack food manufacturers in the country with Kiwi favourites including Bluebird Potato Chips, Doritos Corn Chips, Grain Waves, Twisties, Rashuns, Burger Rings and Cheezels.
Making the best tasting chips remains at the heart of everything Bluebird does.
That's why Bluebird is New Zealand's favourite.

"Curlies" are called "Twisties" in New Zealand. I presume they changed the name there so people don't get confused with Australian Twisties from Smith's. Smiths and Bluebird are both owned by PepsiCo who also own Lays, Doritos etc.

We also have Bluebird Burger Rings in New Zealand, and Bluebird Cheezels

Smiths and Bluebird sometimes do the same limited time flavours, for example the time they did two flavours in one bag.

"Kiwi Onion Dip" is normally made by mixing a packet of Magi Onion Soup with Nestle Reduced cream and a little bit of vinegar, letting it set in the fridge.

One thing I learnt is McDonald's Australia buys their soft serve from Fonterra (New Zealand Dairy Giant), so we're apparently getting the same product.

Can you buy Sanitarium Marmite there?

The small packets back in 2009 had ruby cards. Kiwi onion chips are good.

You should try O'Ryans - they are a thicker version of the potato chips.
