What are You Coming in to the Houston Podiatrist For? My Feet!
Показать описание
Whenever you visit a new doctor's office, it could be a little daunting. You don't really know what to expect. I had a chance to talk to some of my team to find out what the more common questions they get asked by new patients coming into the office, and it all starts with the first phone call into our office.
Hi, I'm Houston podiatrist Dr. Andrew Schneider. And when you call our office, you're going to get one of our team and they're going to be asking you a number of questions. They're going to ask you about your personal information and, of course, your insurance information. But we're going to ask you, what are you coming in for? And a very common answer we get to that question is, "My feet." Well, that's like saying, when you're going to the eye doctor, "What are you coming in for?" "My eyes." There's a lot that goes on with your feet and depending on what you're coming in for, we want to make sure that we set up the right appointment for you.
We have appointments of different lengths and different times, really dependent on how complex the concern is. So the more detail you're able to give us over the phone, the better off we're able to schedule you and schedule our day. And that's important because we don't want people waiting. We don't want you waiting in the reception room. We don't want you waiting in the treatment room. We like to keep things as streamlined as possible because we're concerned and we want to make sure that we honor your time here in the office. But we want to make sure we schedule the appropriate amount of time. So if you could be specific about the #HeelPain that you're feeling first thing in the morning, or that you're getting pain in your #AchillesTendon when you're running, or your toenails aren't looking right, or maybe that you think you have either a callus or a wart, you don't know the difference, whatever the concern is, please just try to get a bit detailed with us and we'll take that information and be able to make the experience in the office the best it can be.
