One actor that should have made this list is Steve Cochran who died on June 15, 1965, aged 48 during a sailing trip from Acapulco to Costa Rica.
Otherwise, this was a great tribute to these unforgettable people we lost during 1965.

I am normally not a person who listens to Christmas music, but Nat King Cole's, Christmas Song is so beautiful u cannot help but listen. It's a lovely tribute to the holiday season. When I hear it tdy, it reminds me of Christmases, when I was a little girl & enjoying that holiday with my parents & extended family.
My dad was born 8 days b4 Christmas & I was born 6days b4.
I was 5yrs old, when Malcolm X, was assassinated. I barely remember the actual murder. Most of the information I gleaned, was when I was old enuf, thru documentaries.
RIP to all who passed that year. 🤍⭐️🕊🤎💐🙌🏽
Thank u for sharing.👍🏽🙌🏽

Weird year with so many dying at a relatively young age. I'm older than most of the people who were shown.

It grieves me to see how many lives were cut short, often by their own hand.

So many passed so young from heart attack. Heart care has come a long way since then.

To be historically accurate, the COD for Dorothy Kilgallen should have been annotated in some fashion to acknowledge the simple fact that the circumstances of her OD were highly questionable and that the potential for there to have been foul play is quite high.

How lucky the world was to have both Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt as leaders of the free world during World War II. At certain points in history, just the right people seem to emerge. Would lesser men have defeated Hitler? Today, it’s hard to imagine people of Churchill’s grit, determination, and intelligence emerging to do anything.
