2-3 times a day, I would spritz with hydrogen peroxide and then wipe the affected area (elbow) with an alcohol patch. I just did it one day while cleaning an unrelated wound. I did this the last 3 times during outbreaks. Each time the itching/flaking lasted less than previous times. So far, been clean for 2 years. Simple solution, but it may or may not work for everyone.
