Since so many people are coming back to Ken’s music I thought I’d share a story for y’all to read!
I discovered his music on a family trip to my aunt’s wedding in California, (I live in the Midwest for reference). We had planned to drive through and visit national parks in Utah before going up through Nevada to get to the wedding venue in Northern California. While driving through the desert and stopping at gas stations with... odd objects for sale (jarred and pruned fruits I didn’t know people had a taste for) Spotify happened to play this song as we were heading into one of the prettiest places I had ever seen. Red rocks and sand for all of my eyes to see, when all I had seen in my life before this trip was corn and green. I associate this song and much more of his music with all the good and happy memories of being down in southern Utah in those towering red rocks and beautiful skylines. So Ken, if you end up reading this, thank you for putting out the music you do. It’s made me so happy and has shown me how good some moments in life can be when it’s mostly a chaotic mess.
