fun fact: Lynels are by far the most intelligent monster in the zelda universe

I'm not sure if monsters have their own free will, or if they're just puppets of ganonforf. but assuming it's the former; imagine if we see Lynels go from enemies, to a friendly faction in later games. kinda like what happend with the Zora.

Fun fact: Cats are known to protect and pretty much adopt kittens and sometimes even infants of other species. Knowing this, it doesn't seem too farfetched for these two to just adopt a random kid they found.

Out of all the monsters in BotW/TotK, Lynels were the ones that struck me as the closest to "civilized".

They have their own sense of honor in the games, they won't draw their weapons on you unless you do so first (You're challenging them) or if you get too close.

Kind of a Lawful Evil creature, compared to all the other monsters who just attack people for the kicks.

Props for showing how terrifying a Hinox can be. He towers over everyone in the panel, casually destroying trees with the child being merely the size of his eye, and the parents both treating this as a truly terrifying foe that they're afraid to face themselves.

Bonus Panels:
Back at the Smash House, Byleth is sitting down at a bench getting ready to make lunch along with Meowscarada and Feral Fangs. She begins making a sandwich which makes the other two rather frisky, resulting in several Pokémon eggs spawning much to her horror. Byleth is later seen talking with Isabelle about enforcing a new rule: no sandwich making on a bench when Pokémon are nearby.

I want Lynel friends to actually be a possibility one day. If the Zora can go from simple monsters to humanoid fish folk with positive relations with other humanoids including Hylians and their Royal Family, why can’t Lynel??? 😭

I find it fascinating that the choice was made for these two lynels to have their regular horns instead of the saber and mace horns. Makes me wonder if it was a deliberate choice to sort of signify they are outside the power of Ganondorf who clearly caused creatures like the Bokoblins all the way up to the Lynels to have a change in their horns.

You know that’d actually be a pretty interesting backstory for Link. Where his parents would have gotten killed when he was an infant and he would later found and adopted by a Lynel or another type of species couple who too have lost their child. And he would grow up to the man he is today👍 plus it would explain his survival instincts that he’s had throughout the series.

Ya know, we never see links parents and it is stated he was able to beat hylian soldiers at a young age. If link was actually raised by lynels it would make a lot of things make sense
