They're both good. I'm tired of pretending I don't like deep dish as a Chicagoan. I like it just as much as tavern style. Just tavern style is made faster, cheaper, best watch the game and vibe pizza, and is perfect for a group of people who have varying appetites.

Also peqouds is good but I feel like I loved it way more when I was a student and lived near by it. It's practically empty on weekdays during off hours.

Broooo thats the point of chicago food, as a chicago lander my self the deep dish pizza, the italian beef, ect, the point is to be messy, also if your ever around chicago again i would recommend trying out portilos 👍

My favorite deep dish from Chicago is a restaurant called Lou Malnati’s. Highly recommend if y’all go back

We have a restaurant in the midwest that goes by the name Pizza King. Its known for their tavern style thin crust and its AMAZING. Some of the best pizzas you can get (in the midwest anyway). Definitely a suggestion, but go to the ones in places like Richmond Indiana or Connersville Indiana as you can try their breadsticks. Get them half-baked with cheese. Perfect combo for any pizza lover. My goto for pizza from them are Royal Feast or Pepperoni.
