How To Replace The Rear Wheel Gears On A Bike

This Video shows you how to replace the gears on the rear wheel of a bike. If you want to replace the rear cassette gears on a bicycle wheel, it is easy to do if you have the right tools. There are gears on the rear wheel of a bike or held on by a little retaining bolt that has a special pattern, and you need the right sized key tool to loosen it. You also need a chain whip wrench to hold onto the old gear cassette to keep it from spreading while you are Loosening the bolt. After taking the bolt off, you can just pull the old gears off of the wheel, and put the new gears on, making sure that they are lined up with the grooves on the hub. hmm, I have a cassette that has a locking nut with jsut 2 pin holes, but below that is all the ballbearing and stuff. Will have to see if thier is anything else I can get at and twist.
