The live action version of Rodrick Rules is a more impressive cinematic achievement than Citizen Kane

Honestly this list is exactly how i'd rank them. Nothing to change.

I haven’t seen the new rodrick rules but I’ve read every book so I know the source material a lot better so here we go
Worst: the long haul (this is my favorite book and they botched this so miserably bad)
4: dog days (honestly I don’t remember this one a lot so it’s really just forgettable)
3: live action wimpy kid (it’s okay but it’s not the best)
2: live action rodrick rules (one of my favorite books in the series and the movie translated over so well)
1: animated wimpy kid (very good movie that stays true to the source material and just a fun movie)

We had a world premiere of OG Rodrick Rules at my school. Got to shake hands with all of the major actors and Jeff Kinney, had a pic taken with him. Have a copy of the first book with all of their autographs. Wonder where those actors are now

I'm glad I was able to see the original 3 at the cinema and be within the target audience age range. They were great and I always hoped they made more with that cast back then
