Alonzo was diagnosed with prostate cancer and due to his age he was ineligible for chemotherapy. Doctors only expected him to have less than a year to live but thanks to him enrolling in a clinical trial his symptoms went away and so did the cancer. Alonzo was given a new lease on life thanks to the theranostic therapies used in the trial.
