Im peruvian and a lot of other peruvians say "you forgot this..." and for me that is rude if we know that, even you are not peruvian, you recomended a lot of dishes that are delicious and tasty. I mean, Perú has a lot of recipies and products and this man just made a very good recomendation about what he tried. So im very thankful and you others peeuavians should be too.

So happy that you're in Peru. The FOOD is AMAZING. We just did a MAJOR series in Peru from Lima to Cusco and talked a ton about the food. As part of our full-time travel...we'll be headed back to PERU. You're so right about the Peruvian beer..it's refreshing and light and we absolutely love Pisco. Oh yes and the Peruvian wines are so nice and flavorful. EXCELLENT video Mark and it was great seeing you film in the square. We can't wait to get back. Mark you forgot about a widespread type of restaurants/food called Chifas/Chifa, it's peruvian but with a strong influence from chinise cuisine, well known among peruvians. Greetings from Lima, love your videos.

I liked the purple corn while I was there. Bembos is good too, which is the peruvian version of a mcdonald's, but better. I had a fantastic and filling Ceviche in Lima.

A few weeks ago, I went to a Peruvian restaurant and had pescado a lo macho. It was fish that had mussels, calamari, and shrimp with rice and a few sauces. I also ordered Inca Kola.

Lomo Saltado is my go-to Peruvian dish as well.

There used to be here in West Hollywood a hole in the restaurant called Canton. The family that originally owned the place were Chinese Peruvians. There were Chinese dishes, but they had many Peruvian ones such as aji de gallina, anticuchos, lomo satado, and Inka Kola. It's gone now, but Canton gave me an introduction to Peruvian food.

Guinea Pig is eaten mostly in the Andean regions of Peru. Most Peruvians live in Lima, have probably only eaten it a few times, and a big number haven't eaten it at all.

We took our family to Peru, our three adults now. 26, 24, 20, had a blast! My oldest enjoyed cut & alpaca everywhere he could get it. 🤣 My brother, sister and spouses, a cousin and spouse. There were 10 if us, we were there a month! We all loved it went to the North (Huacachina & Nazca), we also went to Cuzco, for a week. Siblings and ai are Peruvian so was even greater for us to go back home. Cuzco affected everyone differently but none of us were sick at the same time. 🤣 Stomach, altitude, oxygen, soroche (altitude sickness) is what happens. My advice is spend 1 or 2 days in Cuzco before going to Machu Picchu to let your body adjust, eat light and rest. Cuzco's elevation is higher than Machu Picchu. Everything is cheap about 3 soles per dollar.
