Set up the Tablo a few days ago and absolutely love it. It was easy to install and had just one small glitch with the smartphone. At first I only got 50 channels but then I move the antenna and now get over 200. What is great is that I see no difference in picture quality than what I get from Xfinity. I especially love that I can attach an external HD and store as many DVR recordings as I want. Xfinity's basic plan has a laughable 20 hours.

Just hooked up my first new TABLO. It was quick & easy. Zero problems. I always prefer a direct ethernet wire connection for a more flawless streaming. I wish there was a way to filter out non-HD channels, and I hope they get 4k soon. 📺 🤓👽👾🤖🖖🏻

My father set his 4th Gen Tablo up on an iPhone and iPad with no problem. It easily connected to his Wi-Fi network. We hooked it up to a ClearStream 2Max Antenna and Juice Amplifier. It pulls in 29 OTA Channels plus almost 50 Streaming Channels in Northern Iowa.

The 4th generation Tablo works well enough and does not require an annual fee for guide service like the legacy Tablos. The Roku and android apps work, but I don’t find them as intuitive as apps for legacy devices. As a Tablo user for many years, the new one disappoints me in several ways. There is no Windows app, no remote access, no commercial skip, and no support for the user community to create 3rd party apps like Tablo Ripper. The new Tablo requires a separate Roku and android app from the old Tablo, which means my Roku now has 2 apps for Tablo. Setup failed several times because it refused to register under my existing Tablo account. Not until I created a 2nd account with another email address would the new Tablo register. The new Tablo is feature poor compared to the old Tablo. I had hoped in buying a new Tablo I’d feel good about retiring my old one. Instead, I’ll be keeping it until the annual subscription runs out in November. I hope by then they at least come up with a Windows app – I have no intention of giving up the ability to watch my Tablo in a small window while working on a spreadsheet, etc.

So if I have a antenna hooked to the tv. I will not need that anymore. I will unhook it from the tv and plug it into the back of this Tablo. and the Tablo goes hooked up to my wifi box. Can someone let me know if this is the way it would be if I buy this? Thanks

We need a simple way to add more HLS/m3u8 IP-channels and customizing data of the guide. I have some duplicate channels with wrong or no guide data that does not record.

Can you watch different channels on different TVs at the same time?

Big issue that with DVR. Can someone please confirm if this is true. I am told that if I set up a recording( i.e. football game for example) that starts at 1:00pm and it begins recording as expected, but i don't get back home until 1:30 for example, I cannot start watching the game from the beginning. I am told it has to finish recording before I can start playback from the beginning. That is like 1980 VCR technology.

Can't get past the code to email it never sends.... I resent for days. I have Gmail.... sucks I thought it would be easy buy trying for few days now. Probably sending back had a feeling it wasn't very easy to get it going.

Difficult set up, It's blocking channels that I normally get with my antenna. Channels that I get all the time with my antenna, tablo is saying it's a week signal. This thing is probably going back. Maybe it's good if your in a city.

Unhooking my Tablo Tonight. The worst. Buffering Problems, Live TV freezes up, reboots on my fire TV, Recording will not start., resets etc etc. going back to hook up my Moho Leaf Antenna
