Very nice looking no bake pumpkin dessert. I would not call this a pie. You could put the pumpkin mixture in a pre made graham cracker pie shell for even easier prep.😊

Things like this are generally called icebox cakes where I've become familiar with them: layering a sauce with cookies or crackers in the fridge until it becomes one thing.

I wouldn't call it a pie but definitely more of what we call "marquesa" in my country, a cold dessert made with layers of cookies and some type of cream, mousse or pudding. Definitely would try it :P

i thought this was going to be like a no bake pumpkin cheesecake from the looks of it. i only like pumpkin pie when its hot, i don't love the filling cold, but this might be good :D

It’s an icebox cake.
I do this with strawberries. I cut up strawberries and add sugar to draw out moisture and sweetness. So then it goes graham crackers, cool whip, strawberries…and repeat.

It reminds me of an ice box cake, where you layer whipped cream and chocolate wafers (the super thin crispy cookies not layered wafers) and put it in the fridge for a day or 2 which makes the wafers soft and cake like. Honestly calling it a pumpkin ice box cake is probably more accurate than pie.

It’s just a choc ripple cake made with pumpkin.

In case you’re wondering Australian chocolate ripple cake is a packet of chocolate ripple biscuits (the simplest explanation is a chocolate cookie but these things are hard, like you could use them as a frisbee hard) layered in a log shape with whipped cream between the biscuits, tic ifs not being served to kids then dipping each biscuit for a slow count to 3 in straight rum before layering is highly encouraged. Cover the whole thing in more whipped cream and generously cover in grated chocolate and chill for a couple of hours before serving so the biscuits have time to soften.
