In case you're wondering why Italy's so thicc, it looks like they've started the atlantropa project, a plan to dam the Mediterranean, proposed by German Architect Herman Sorgel in the 1920s, who saw it as a solution to all Europe's problem.

In reality, the Atlantropa project would have actually most likely killed southern Europe, as the land of the Mediterranean is actually useless salt flats, and no water would obviously kill the fishing industry (not to mention the enormous cost of building a dam that wide).

The idea largely died out after WW2, but I could see the Nazis trying something this stupid.
