I don’t even know if I can call myself a JS developer anymore. I use TS for everything and find myself getting stuck when reading raw js in npm packages.

personally i prefer vanilla js for its simplicity and because it's a lot less verbose, and in js you can better mess around with objects and arrays

Initially very frustrating as I had to use it at work, so had no choice. Now very happy I learnt it 😊

If you are stuck with jQuery, you probably are wondering what's all the fuss about TS and won't jump on the bandwagon any time soon. TS is a 1st-class citizen in Angular so those guys are probably wondering why React is still more popular. So the question left is how to use TypeScript with React in a practical way, not with tutorials that just want to show off their OOPs skills even when knowing that TS ain't no C#.

Idk what js folks were thinking, ts is how most other backend languages are, static!
