I love that the show didn't go easy on how messed up Wanda's actions were.

You can see how desperate Wanda is to try and convince the people let alone herself that her actions weren’t malicious. She’s desperate to cling to any of the good she thinks she’s doing.

Somehow Wanda seems begging them for understanding, but, how could they? after all that suffering they've been through. Even if she didn't do it on purpose, the damage had been done already.

She was too focused on trying to live a perfect life that she didn’t consider the ramifications to those manipulated and controlled by her....endless smiles and endless changes, the lack of control of emotions....puppets on strings, aware of the strings that hold them up, that just wish to be free, with the puppetmaster’s grief and fear coursing through their dreams...this went into a weird philosophical angle for some reason but yeah, she thought she was doing the right thing but it backfired

I love how in this world, Wanda is basically god, and people respond to her like how people will respond to an omnipotent being in control of everything. They may fear her, or hate her, but when they are allowed to talk, all they could do is plead and beg for mercy and maybe express frustration, but nothing more, because they know they cant do more.

Reminds me of Twilight Zone's episode "It's A Good Life", or Black Mirror's "USS McCallister" or Justice League Animated Series' two-parter "Legends". Also the short story "I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream". Check them out if you enjoyed Wandavision.

If Wanda isn't in some way, shape of form an antagonist in Doctor Strange 2, I'll be shocked. She is clearly turning into a villain, even if unintentionally.

This is what made wanda a great character in my eyes: she has flaws. She commits evil, selfish acts, and isn't a goody-two-shoes superhero. While she never intended to harm the people, she was still aware something was wrong and chose to be in denial about it. Even when confronted she's still trying to live in denial. This whole series was basically wanda living in denial of reality, which made her a three dimensional character who can and will make mistakes or bad choices

An unintentional villain.

But a villain nonetheless

"I can't control their fear, only my own."
Turns out you had it the wrong way around Wanda, you can't control your own feelings and do control everyone else's by making it worse.

Thanks Hawkeye.

I wish they would have done a Marvel one shot where all the residents are interviewed

She knows deep down how messed up what she did was, but she doesn't want to admit it to herself. She's been desperate for peace and happiness for so long she broke and everyone got trapped in the fantasy she created for herself. She doesn't mean or want to hurt anyone but she doesn't want to admit that she's hurt people.
SPOILER:

Whether it's in the Netflix series that's been confirmed or if those rumours about a 'Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair' movie are true, it'll be interesting in light of 'WandaVision' to see 'The Silver Chair' - those who've read the book or see the BBC series from the late 80s will get why I'm comparing the two, otherwise I won't say anything for risk of further spoilers. Then we can really get into a debate over her actions.

I wish they made Agatha the main villain who helped Wanda control her magic and also there’s no magical destiny cause that was stupid. And when Wanda realizes that the dome is hurting people, she confronts her and has to make a choice, either stand by and be with Vision and her family while people are suffering or sacrifice all that to save the town

What I don’t get is that they understand she’s in pain, has nightmares and is depressed… why are they attacking her emotionally like that. Some are fine, just telling her husband to not come back and some just wanna see their kids but other than that they just ganged up on her

Wanda was the villain all along. Not Agatha.

People calling wanda a villain and monica stupid for defending her.
Monica didnt defend her, she understood her. If u think u wouldnt do what wanda did if you were in her situation u are a hypocryte.
Wanda stopping it proves she has ptential for good
