The whole episode is heart-wrenching, but one part that makes me feel so sad, but is also understandable/relatable, is how she takes a moment to look at Vision, and looks at what she's done, and then **willingly** steps into her daydream/creation. It's like she's saying, "Fuck it, real life is worse than this. I've already tried long enough and hard enough to know that there is nothing better than this daydream."

Here it becomes clear that Wanda really was being honest when she said she didn’t know or remember how she created Westview. In this moment she wasn’t consciously thinking “I want to live with Vision in a sitcom world, and I’m gonna make it happen.” All of her most subconscious desires manifested from her explosion of grief. And it explains why Monica felt grief inside her when she crossed the Hex barrier; the entire Hex was created from blinding, uncontrollable grief.

I’m not surprised this happened. She lost too much in her life, more than anyone should. Mix that in with her powers that drain her sanity, it’s more surprising she didn’t lose it sooner. Sometimes people can’t be saved from the darkness in their souls. The pain, the fear, the sadness. It’s all consuming. She deserved far better than what she got. If she and vision had a child, a real one, she would’ve been far more stable because look how stable she is in the last movie she was in
