Canyon Country landslide displaces residents

A landslide at a housing development in Canyon Country Sunday afternoon had some homes in a new development yellow-tagged, forcing residents to stay elsewhere while damage was assessed.

I worked for the County and remember when they were planning the area. California moves, though. Sometimes you lose your bet.

I don’t see one tree planted there by the developer, same as most of the new homes built in Santa Clarita. That needs to change!
