YOU ARE FREAKING AMAZING. Big thumbs up!! I apparently removed my fire tv from my old TV and plugged it into new TV and it stopped controlling the volume and on and off buttons. Searched everywhere and even amazon couldn't help but I did your steps and sure enough the fire tv needed to be updated with the new tv under the "manage equipment". Omg this shit help me, 4 months tryna figure out how to connect my fire tv remote to my Sony tv . When I first set it up it Automatically connected, once I unplugged everything. Sony tv with fire tv remote wasn’t working, I had to get up all the time to turn off and on the tv, as well as the volume 2 exhausting 😅😅😅😅😅😅 thanks . Happy I came a cross to you video .
