Recently found an old World Tour controller for Wii and I’m excited to grab the guitar hero’s I missed out on. It’s a shame there’s no Van Hagar era songs, sometimes I find myself enjoying those albums a lot more than some of the David Lee Roth era ones

This game, in my opinion, would have been so much better if it had some songs from the Sammy Hagar era, the Van Halen members having alternate costumes, and if the Guitar Hero 5/Band Hero engine was used instead of the outdated Guitar Hero Metallica engine. This game is good but could have been much better. Instead what we got was an inferior version of Guitar Hero Metallica but with a Van Halen theme and songs instead.

Probably my favourite GH game haha, I’m a huge Van Halen fan and I loved GH back in the day so this was great for me. The game wasn’t perfect though obviously. Way too many songs from modern pop punk-type bands that have nothing to do with VH’s style of music, and Michael Anthony wasn’t in there, even in the “traditional” look of the band that you unlock after you complete the game.
