I over shift a lot, never really considered the impact of letting off the throttle. I also try to keep true to the slow-in, slow-out approach, but it's the guy behind me that is just fast everywhere who punts me out of the way 🤣

Thumbnail game on point.

Thanks for doing these videos 😀

Can you do tips on mid-air leaning and corrections? I hit the jump sideways sometimes and it’s impossible to correct most times

Great tips! Thank for your effort! What a difference it makes how you land!

Personally i would love some tips/advice about when to stand/sit and when to lean front/back in a straight line (for example the straight line before the start/finish on Assen.

I just recently started again and beta 16 is a huge improvement for the slower riders.

rly good guide Lynds! my self as a new player in mx bikes, comming from mx sim. if we talk from the settings perspective, one thing that has helped me, getting more stable and learn the game physics better, was to lover the gain on the lean. to around 80, and progressivly turning it, as im getting better and better at the game to carry more speed. I had a rly hard time going into a corner, and sliding out. but this helped me alot. i don't know if it will help others, but diffently worth a try. but let me know if anyone tries this out, and if it helped you or not. i feel like the best settings to try out as a beginner is the direct lean and the gain on the lean

We really need more videos like this. I come from Rocket League and the amount of videos on how to improve at the game is crazy. Wasnt expecting there to be so little info on how to improve in MXB compared to RL!

Being 5 months late, Its not almost November. Ive been playing the game for almost 1.5-2 yrs and i was faster at the beginning than now. I feel like you covered a lot bad habits I acquired while playing early mx bikes and showed me what I should fix. I appreciate it

The one major disadvantage to landing back wheel first all the time is you can be late for a fast-approaching turn if there is one. For example, after the last jump sequence after the big table on Walnut, that hard right turn is in your face right away after the down ramp. If your back wheel first there, it's not ideal. Personally, I like scrubbing and landing front wheel just a tad before the back wheel. It keeps the bike from the big bounce, you get from landing both wheels same time and I can dig into the turn instantly instead of waiting for the front wheel to come down. You have to be careful though and have good pace and pitch so you're landing on the down ramp at a good angle and not over jumping and landing into the flat. But on big air jumps that are straight, yeah, back wheel first is great. All said, all of this might change with the new bikes coming out soon. I'm sure the physics will be dialed in better, less bounce. Let's hope the slow physics ice skating gets fixed soon .
