If you put it in for the first loop, don't we have it to be +V5-V1-V3=0
If I change the 0 pattern I have it as V1+V3=V5 for equ 1, you get? "/

Hi sir, how would we know in which directions the loops head? As in clockwise or anti-clockwise

Why start with a minus? That part I dont get

Vs - V1 - V3 = 0
V3 - V2 - V4 = 0
Vs - V1 - V2 - V4 = 0
