16 - Kirchhoff's Current and Voltage Law (Concept and Solved Examples)

preview_player
Показать описание
In this video, Kirchhoff's current and voltage laws are explained. Kcl states that in a closed loop of an electrical network the sum of currents leaving a junction should be equal to the sum of currents entering the junction. Kvl on the other hand states that in a closed loop of an electrical network the sum of voltages dropped across the resistive elements should be equal to the source or applied voltage.
Solved Examples in there.

can you explain why you have current flow coming out of the left battery going to the right battery. isn't it impossible for a positive to be attracted to another positive. the 4 ohm resistor can only have current flowing through it from the right battery. your calculation is wrong!!! mike

Your loop 1, why don't you have a negative sign for 2I and negative sign for 8(I-I1), since current flows from positive to negative

Please can you teach how to identify if a current is in series or parallel

I am little bit confused why there was a negative voltage drop between the I¹ & I²

But what if we have another resistance of 5ohms parallel to 2ohms to do that
