I started drinking alcohol years ago as a teenage, got addicted to alcohol. Spent my whole life fighting alcohol addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

For those of you who seem to have a theory on what order to do them in to avoid getting sick, I'll let you in on a little secret: I've been drinking/smoking pretty regularly and eventually you find the perfect balance/dosage, especially as you build tolerance. I never get sick from combining them.

Three glasses of wine and one pot brownie led to me not just blacking out, but temporarily PASSING OUT. It really snuck up on me. I was at a party with my husband and had no idea how strong the brownies were, and when it hit me it hit me so hard that I had a panic attack. Husband and I leave the party with me experiencing tunnel vision and my head spinning all the way to the car and him helping me along, and I go from waiting for him to unlock the car door to hearing, "oh my god, honey, are you okay?" and I wake up flat on my back in the cold gravel parking lot with him checking to see if I hit my head.

Then we went home and watched Ghostbusters while we waited for me to sober up. I kept blacking out, coming to, and asking, "is this movie still on?" I swear it felt like a 9 hour movie. I don't mix alcohol and edibles anymore.
