The feel of a launch within a few miles is unbelievable, the delayed sound wave can be seen coming across water, the impact of the pressure wave is amazing, it is like watching a miss-timed movie, well worth seeing in person.

I worked at Cape Canaveral many years ago. I was lucky to watch 2 shuttle launch from about 10 miles. The sound and push from the launch was surprising. I hope to someday get to be near to see and feel a Starship launch.

Seeing those raptors burn so clean was stunning, so many engineering milestones in this launch it’s hard to know what to appreciate, other than a sense of awe. Footage was awesome nice tech.
