20+ Episode seasons were far too long for a show like this, I think it's going to really benefit from what I can assume will be a 10 to 13 episode season. It'll help the story seem more focused and less dragged out.

When Congressman Kimble says there's evidence to reverse the case against a vice presidential candidate during the hearing, he's very stupid to let the criminal know everything whenever something happens, even though he shouldn't be talking directly to the vice presidential candidate. What a frustrating president.

The show has changed and not for the better! Why would they get rid of Mike, Lyon, and KEndra? Absolutely ridiculous! Not only that but what is up with all of the bad language and nudity in season 3? It was never like that in seasons 1 & 2.

I don't know what this show is trying to be anymore.

What with its combination of copying news and political headlines like it's some kind of self-aware, awakened show and padding out the runtime with so-called real life interviews... it's almost laughable how far this show has deviated from season 1's premise that it is now unrecognisable from that.

Ce pacat! Am televizor din clasa intai, din 1962 si prima data cand am vazut un serial despre care am spus "iata un program care merita vazut, a fost Designated Survivor. A inceput slab, bazat pe o premisa exagerata, aproape parodica, a abundat in situatii nefiresti, in care s-a incurcat si a tot gresit psihloogii, reactii, a uitat ca exista pe acolo institutii ca Secret Service, CIA sau FBI, bazandu-se pe singurul personaj care avea substanta, credibilite care, ca un Superman rezolva singura (si impotriva tuturor) totul - si avea credibilitate si farmec, insa, incet, avand si o distributie excelent aleasa, s-a asezat in matca si a devenit un show solid, pentru mine imposibil de ratat. Apoi din senin (slaba audienta? Efectul cretinizarii publicului american de propaganda idiotului de Trump si a amicului lui Putin? Serialul e suspendat dupa 2 sezoane. Apoi, preluat de alti idioti, e distrus intr-un minisezon de zece episoade tocmai cand promitea o dezvoltare specraculoasa: schimba jumatate din excelenta distributie din primele doua sezoane cu niste actori fara forta, farmec si haz, omoara DEGEABA, FARA NICIO LOGICA SAU UTILITATE DRAMATURGICA PE HANNAH WELLS (CA O PEDEAPSA CA A FOST PREA BUNA) SI, PESTE INCA TREI EPUSOADE SE CACA IN PRESEDINTELE-EROU, PE CARE IL TRANSFORMA INTR-O ZDREANTA CORUPTA OPUSL A CEEA CE A REOREZENTA. Why season 3 suddenly the mother offers. An occasional F bomb, but it seems now the writers are jr high students trying to use every curse word in the book trying to act cool for the older kids. Instead they just look like nerds. The last straw for me was the press secretary just randomly saying a string of not even poetically flowing curse words mother effer blah blah blah, ending with the c word. I liked that this show in season one and 2 had kind of more of an old school presidential top gunnish vibe and watched it with my teenagers. The first season had very little sex. Then the 3rd out of nowhere shows male sex including graphic thrusting scenes. Then In comes the token transgender, token illegal, token far right wingers, token evil Christian, token transgender support group.... I can appreciate some organic part of the story emerging with some liberal issues, but this writing is so bad. It is just inserting liberal hot issues for the sake of crossing it off the "list", with zero regard to quality storytelling or quality in general. Shame on you Kiefer Sutherland for just completely exploiting these issues to make yourself feel like you care for others....aka virtue signaling. So sick of Hollywood elite virtue signaling.
