So, are jeans even part of the Kibbe system? Well, I'm making an executive decision and saying they have to be. So here ya go. I try on jeans and blouses that work for all 13 Kibbe ID's

I love Kibbe for the fact that it emphasizes that the clothes should fit you, not the other way around. My only grievance is that my ID is Soft Natural but, I prefer the Classic/ Romantic style. Very frustrating 😕

Loved what you said about how style nowadays can have a lot of dichotomy. Kibbe can be a very useful tool but I think it's important to remember it's dated and we need to interpret it through a modern lens in a way that works for us and our personal tastes!

I’d appreciate you giving your take on sneakers for all the Kibbe types. Living in a city where you walk everywhere, Kibbe’s shoe recommendations are not practical for everyday life, but I still want to finish off my outfits with what is best! I’d love to hear your explanation of yin-yang for sneakers!

I liked the SD look on you a lot. The flares were great. The FN look was also good. I’m a dramatic (I think) and I always wear skinny jeans in very dark colors. They are personally my favorite fit.

I love your approach to Kibbe! It’s so freeing. I think trying to follow the guidelines too closely was actually driving me crazy and felt immensely stifling. Btw I’m a soft classic and have gamine/ingenue/classic essence and watching your video about essences and seeing you try on outfits for all the essences was really illuminating. I hadn’t fully understood the concept of essences before (still boggles my mind how a FN can have romantic essence, but I totally see it and it works!) But I think I’m starting to get it.

You nailed the styles! I don’t think the system is from god but I do appreciate how it really highlights all different sorts of body shapes, unlike other systems that are trying to change everyone to look tall and slim and hourglass.

Just getting into kibee. I’m a theatrical romantic, and I have one pair of jeans that I absolutely adore and they are my go to jeans. They are exactly what you suggested for theatrical romantics in this video.

Thank you!! You’ve answered a question I’ve had for forever. Dark wash bootcut and straight leg jeans are always suggested for us “juicy” gals with bigger thighs. But light color skinny jeans have always been my jam, and as a TR now I know why!!🎉❤

This video makes me very happy to be a soft natural! My usual winter outfit is skinny jeans (not cropped - long enough for the natural line) and a chunky knit sweater, which fits my ID well.

I also just realized that sweaters (especially the textured cable-knit, colorwork, or fair isle varieties) are easiest for naturals to style.

I am either SD or SN, and I the SD jeans. They have always been my go to...although in the 90s we did not have easy access to higher rise flares.

I'm a soft natural (I think) and the most flattering jeans on me are a high waisted boyfriend or a slim straight. I also think a high waisted boot cut works but I haven't worn boot cut in a long time. Good vid!
