As an interior designer, you are speaking my language. I'm a stickler for working with a home's original architecture to create interiors and I've ALWAYS wanted someone to explain fashion to me in the same way. Thank you!!!

This is absolutely NOT a criticism of Aly, more of a general observation I've noticed from various creators I follow, but I feel that the rules/advice for classics is always a bit skimpy. I think there's a lot of difference between a DC and a SC....a sharp blazer for example would look great on a DC, but not so good on a SC. I'd like to see a whole video devoted to each type on this topic ....it's so jnteresting 😊

This is such a good explanation of today's fashion. People always say 'everything is in' but it makes more sense to say eclectic is actually preferred

What I really love about this is COMFORT! Some sense of not being abnormal!
I was always told stuff like : don’t wear combat boots with flowery dresses, don’t wear a leather jacket with something cute, don’t wear animated prints, don’t wear contrasting colours they cut you out... I feel like we all have this inherent attraction to what fits our bodies and our moods, but then society comes with all the dos and donts an we become lost and confused 🤷‍♀️
THANK YOU ALY

I agree with people in the comments: it would be amazing to have this style of video dedicated to each type :) I’d love to see some vintage + winter theatrical romantic outfits, lots of dresses, and skirts with blouses combined with different pantyhose and heels + hair, that would be amazing.

I paused in 30 seconds just to say that this lightweight, gentle make-up looks SOOOO great on you! And this sweater with roses. Feels like 100% your type)) So lovely! ❤️

I'm a SD and to me it's vital that I have the waist emphasis. And I love dressing vintage because I love the feminine style witch unfortunately is hard to find in modern stores.

Poor Mila Jovovich... She's SUCH a beautiful woman but it seems like she (or her stylist!) definitely went through a phase of trying to dress her in a very girly, Yin-dominant way that looked SO separate to her gorgeous pure Dramatic nature. It's literally uncomfortable to look at some of those pictures!

I believe I am a soft gamine, and I discovered that I can pull of more classic ballerina-esque clothing if I contrast the materials sharp enough. For example, one of my favorite outfits is a pair of distressed and cropped boyfriend jeans combined with a very nice quality knit wrap sweater and some black ballet style flats. When I try to pair the sweater with a bottom of equal quality, I feel like I look so stuffy!

I feel like you spoke about all the types in detail, but only 1 minute for Naturals and Soft Naturals. What would they use in the Summer? I feel like layering is not really an option in the Summer.

I would love to see a video about how to wear your fingernails for the body types.
Color, designs, short or long, natural or painted?
Thank you for your videos! Always very helpful!

As a 61 year old woman, when I have to look smart I sometimes struggle not to follow the matching style from when I worked in management. My solution is to wear what I want, but keep to one colour palette with different textures. I stopped working in 2008 and settled straight away into casual or smart casual. As a plus size woman accessories were always very important for expressing my own style and I love shopping for these! I have been moving to a more romantic style, but I have to avoid baggy clothing because it can make me look bigger.

It's a wonder video!! The only thing is... naturals and soft naturals got 1 min of it...I was envious of dramatics, lol

19:00 I discovered that a long scarf would also work well there.
I have a dark violett dress which is over the knee and with long sleeves and it’s very high around the neck (like Aly) and very tight and have a pullover material. So it’s very Heavy. Without a scarf I look a little bit puffy. A belt doesn’t work well there because of the material and my little stomach. So I put a dark red, woolly, small, but long scarf on it. It creates a vertical line and balanced it out.

Great video! I’m not sure if I’m a dramatic or a flamboyant natural but now I realised that styling wise they have so many things in common and I think I already incorporate them in my style.
Now they only thing I need to figure out is if I prefer my hair long, with volume and wavy or sleek and more strict looking…
