My first dynasty league started in '20, and I've already seen all of this.
My dynasty league was set up with the draft order reversing for the rookie draft, and both drafts being snake. I was hoping to get a late pick in the vet draft, but I got #1. Offered it up and had no takers. The guy at #12, with #1 rookie pick traded Miles Sanders for rookie pick 1.3 after the vet draft. He then traded 1.3 and 3.1 in '20 for 1.2 in '20, and a '21 2nd. So he drafted ceh and JT. Luckily I traded him my 2.1 in '20 for his '21 1st, since he had terrible luck and gave me the '21 1.3. Unfortunately he was able to package ceh and 2 '22 2nds for Javonte... 🙄
The off-season before '21 I got into a random league with people on sleeper, pre nfl draft. We did the draft with rookies included. A bunch of trading happened, it seemed fun, then teams started dropping out, and the league was deleted before the season started...
During '21, my team was riddled with injury so I sold off players. Got '22 and '23 firsts for Mixon, '22 pick is 1.3. With no 1st this year or next, and all his best players, other than Mixon and Justin Jefferson, being clearly declining assets(Amari Cooper, Travis Kelce, Zeke, Russell Wilson), and using his '21 first on Justin Fields in a 1 QB league, the guy I traded Mixon to bounced after the season.
With $100 dues, somehow the commish was luckily able to find an owner to take over the team.
