Definitely good things to think about before deciding to visit. I think you should always do your research before visiting a foreign country, and be prepared for different laws and customs. Despite all of that I think Singapore looks like a cool place to visit, and I hope to be able to visit some day soon! I'm definitely a fan of Godzilla and I've been looking forward to this movie for awhile now!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it a lot, I've watched Godzilla movies since I was a little kid. Thanks for the review, and the vlog of course!! Take care, and I'll see you next time!!!

I myself being a Singaporean agree to what u say. But I believe there are still some nice people around in Singapore ;). That’s the reasons why I wanted to migrate in the future even though Singapore is a safe country. In Singapore everything is about money! Nothing is free unless you are looking out for free coupons online or discounts XD when during peak hours, public transports alway get full.. wanting a fast way home by taking trains, it’s always full so taking bus although it’s a hours rides, sometimes bus drivers doesn’t stop for u. Thinking of taking taxi it’s expensive. Wanting to drive, traffic jams. Food from Kopitiam it’s more expensive then restaurants food HAHAH WELCOME TO SINGAPORE GUYS

Thanks for the heads up about Singapore but every place has it's pluses and minuses. Exploring and discovering the hidden gems that we love about a place is up to each separate visitor. I hope to visit and explore Singapore and all it's variety. Thx for the honest post

I am a friendly person here at home I say hello to everyone and give them a smile . So I did this in Singapore and people took a step back really l mean it lol, it took some getting used to I can tell you, I would agree with all your points. However it's still a place you have to visit that's for sure even if only once, I will be going back one day . Nice vlog as always

I've been visiting Singapore since the late eighties and don't think the customer service is that bad. From a regular tourist perspective, I find most people still friendly and polite. Maybe I've been lucky lah. You know what's great about visiting Singapore compared to other S.E. Asian cities? It's safe to drink the water, it's safe to walk around late at night, eating out at hawker centres is still inexpensive and the public transport is efficient! What I don't like is the exchange rate is no good anymore.

Lol, Customer service. When I first can to Asia I was shocked how terrible it was. 10 yrs later, I'm kind of used to it. Just!

I love Singapore and miss my island terribly. However, when I lived there it was much more affordable, the traffic was not nearly as bad- especially driving out to A&W on the other side of the island. The Mercedes we owned was much more affordable than now. The weather was always hot and humid and I miss that. I hate Winter, when I first moved back to the US it was January and I hated the cold and the dirty snow. I miss the multi cultural experience. We have that here but not to the same extent. Many Americans have never heard of Singapore- so ignorant- jk. Miss holidays to Kuala Lumpor. Miss Chinese New Year parades downtown with the tiger and dragon. Miss the Singapore zoo where you used to be able to ride an elephant and go into the tiger cub cage. Miss Clemente park before all of the high rise apartments and my house at 2 Sunset Drive. Miss the motocross races out at the naval base. Miss playing in the new construction sites, miss exploring all of the monsoon drain networks and finding all the Japanese ww2 artifacts in the woods in Clemente park. I would love to live there again even though it has changed so much.

Chewing gum law in Singapore is pretty weird to probably anyone in the rest of the developed world .. "The Singapore Chewing gum has a place in place since 1992. Since 2004, an exception has existed for therapeutic, dental, or nicotine chewing gum, It is not currently to illegal to chew gum in Singapore, merely to import it and sell it, apart from the favored exceptions. Tourists are visiting Singapore are allowed to up to the leading [1] which can be bought from a doctor or registered pharmacist. packs of chewing gum per person "

3 good/bad reasons - 1. They love fines expensive fines, for small things / if you are smoking, drinking/eating, eating durian, pissing and push emergency stop button in metro train you will pay more then 10k EURos in fines ! 2. Immigration will point at you if you look like you smoke, because they want you to pay fine around 500 euros/you cannot bring Cigarettes in 3. You can get whipped in Singapore is legal, i never seen it. 1. Toilets are clean 2. Food is good and cheap 3. Lot of things are for free, so explore more in Singapore then marina bay and sentosa island. - Singapore is great but you need to get used to it, everything is working, is clean, people are nice. BUT FOLLOW THE RULLES, EVEN IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE RULES ARE, and everything will be great !
