Where can I find a supportive community?

I always had great success finding good communities online. Discord really made it easy to create them!

There are some things I'll do for a friend, I'll go to a movie I don't enjoy it because they enjoy and they'll come to a movie with me that they don't necessarily enjoy. But going to church is something completely different. I'm not going to go to church just to maintain a relationship with another person. I find it hypocritical.

Supportive communities are made up of loving people. If kindness, compassion and love exist in a persons life, then they ultimately feel supported by those around them. It is like a warm embrace. Whether you are part of a smaller group, community or larger cosmopolitan city you can find a place of make sure to be your authentic self, so you know you are accepted for who you truly are. "To thine own self be true".

When I really got into knitting I found this whole online knitting community where everyone just comes together to create. It's kinda awesome.
I'm not sure people should go to church if they don't believe though. I've found the people who do believe tend to want to make you believe to. Which is fine if your open to the idea of a God, but if you're not it seems better to not go to church. At least in my experience as someone who is trying to find out what I believe in by going to church and opening conversations with religious people.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to join a group and go somewhere where you don’t feel comfortable and enjoy yourself. It’s better to have a few good friends who care about you and give you support.
