Introducing a 21st Century Classic – the 1911-X.

The classic 1911 has joined the Red Dot Revolution. Modern upgrades include an optic-ready slide with direct mount capability for the new ROMEO-X red dot optic, and XRAY3 Day/Night sights for extreme sight picture visibility. Additional features include an adjustable flatblade trigger, custom G10 grip panels from LOK Grips, a railed stainless-steel frame and ambidextrous safety. A stylized carbon steel slide, removeable metal magwell, unrivaled custom aesthetics, and a serrated front strap bring upgraded features to a timeless platform. Available in two 5-inch full-size options chambered in .45AUTO with 4.25-inch carry models coming Spring 2024.

Greater performance. Increased accuracy. Classic design collides with modern innovation. 1911-X from SIG SAUER.

Sig you should’ve made a 2011 Stacatto competitor that uses your P320 mags!

Where is the 1911 double stack? Preferably that takes P320 mags or traditional ds 1911 mags.

lines and design of the classic 1911. Trigger will probably be amazing. EveryOne is clamouring for a 10mm variant. As well as a NeW SiG: STACCATO clone. With a steel frame, etc.. SIG You the Resources and the amazing talent. Bring it on. Peace

1911 double stack, using xmacro magazine, and make extended xmacro magazine. Competing Staccato's 2024 C, and CS grip modules.

Forget the double stack - or 9mm — what we want is 10mm, there are actually ZERO currently produced 1911s in 10mm with both rail and red dot ready - would be a huge hit. Especially in brushed stainless! I’d buy it in a second. I’m waiting until 10mm. 10mm 10mm 10mm.

Looks good. My second gun ever was a Sig 1911. The ones I had worked fine. Problem is that was over a decade ago. The platypus is gona put a hurtn on these manufacturers considering their price point.

Model 1911 still a legendary pistol after 113 years serving and evolution.

I’m so glad I didn’t buy those new 2k Springfield 1911s that has no optic cut. I will be buying one of these. Way to go Sig!

A double stack pistol would be a "21st century classic." With its single stack design, it's still a 20th century gun at its core.

Well done Sig. Your weapons are truly turn key ready out of the box. Very hard to beat.

now imagine that carry version in a double stack, shrunk down to a p365 variant size.
NOW you have something worth buying.

Next step Sig 1911X LEGION please! Haters gonna hate no matter what. I have red dots on older Sig 1911s. Nice to see optic cuts on em from factory now.

I was just complaining last week at my local gun dealer that I couldn’t believe no one was selling optics ready 1911’s!

Nice. Still would have preferred a double stack 1911 or a 3.9" P320 XCompact (not the 3.6" XCompact or the standard P320 Compact).
