is there a way to turn off the stash? instead of bottles dropping into the hopper when filling it, they go into stash. is there a way around this?

15/11/24 still works. Tip: Buy a full inv of glass bottles then hold click them all into water, they will all go into stash. Add 3 double chests leading into the starting hopper (top one), then while the top chest is open, If you're using badlion, add a inventory button '/pickupstash'. Click the button from inside the menu and double click them into the chest, this will fill every single chest up in the system.

Took around 1 hour from level 38 -> 50, costing 45m worth of ingredients.

The design still works, as of 10/5/2024 but requires manual water bottle placement into chests due to stash. Took a few mins extra but was no big deal. Other comments have explained how to work around this well.

you could run the redstone dust directly on the solid block next to the hoppers to save some redstone meter
it is also possible to stack alternating layers block, hopper, and brewing stand to accommodate longer brewing recipes

How do you make it so that the water bottles dont go in your stash?

since it fills up your stash now instead of falling straight into the hoppers just let the water bottles fill up your stash then do /pickupstash and shift them directly into the chests. doesnt take much more time than the original way

When i try to fill the hoppers with water bottles it just puts them into the stash. Is there a way to fix that?

Why didn't mine start auto-brewing on the second round? I had to go in and replace each ingredient in order to get it to start. Did this happen to anyone else?
