I was expecting you to mention the Doom of Malantai, a Zoanthrope that sucked the power out of an entire Eldar Craftworld's Infinity Circuit and then basically instantly melted the minds of its entire surviving population.

These Tyrannids are the result of the Hivemind understanding the unfathomable power of named characters.

Ah yes....The Swarmlord...slaughterer of worlds, killer of D-list characters, severe wounder and almost-killer of named space marines when Games Workshop wants to show how tough they are...

I love Tyranid lore. I'm hoping stories about them or at least including them come out more frequently.

This is why I love Tyranids, they are so freaking cool. The Swarmlord is my absolute favorite and I have heard of a couple bio forms called the dominatrix and hydraphant, I don't know how much lore there is around them but those would be cool to know more about

I just turned 42 and am discovering the 40K universe for the first time. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much for such a long time 😢

Tyranid stuff is so badass. They're actually the reason I got into 40k to begin with. I'd love to hear you talk about some of the bio titans sometime

It’s crazy how far out of the loop I am with 40k, but every time I see a short or video from weshammer, I can’t help but watch because he’s such an excellent story teller and reader

I believe The Death Leaper is the evolutionary template of every lictors within the swarm just like The Swarmlord being the evolutionary template for all the hive tyranids in the franchise.

I'm so glad you got a steady sponsor, Warhammer isn't exactly a cheap hobby. Keep up the fantastic work, Wes. Btw, I hope you cover the Vashtorr books soon! New one is out now (?)

This was great to watch, the Tyranids are such a great race (when their not eating you 😊) it's hard to pick a favourite.
The part about the ship landing and being silent is extra creepy, that alone would make a great story.

It's worth noting that the kraken on the Space Wolves' homeworld of Fenris are (at least believed to be depending on where you're reading) a species of Tyranid that was seemingly present before the first hive fleet arrived. Mixed with information on the Red Terror, it begs the question is there more to the Tyranids capabilities than meets the eye?

The Nids, Orks, and Death Guard are what got me into WH40k. I love his stuff and I hope it continues in a direction that expands Xeno races.

Imagine a Tyranid that was born...wrong. One born with a sense of self, one who breaks away from the hivemind and becomes its own basically, but one whos able to think and feel things other then just hunger. One defiant to the hive

YES!!! ANOTHER WESHAMNER VIDEO!!! But in all seriousness I absolutely love all your content I don't think there's a single video or single short video you've done that I dislike and anyway so in other words to keep up the awesome work 💪😎👌

That parasite one legitimately made my skin crawl. Those guardsmen didn't stand a chance.

Honestly I'd like to hear more about the times that the Hive Mind decided to make an appearance on the battlefield. I remember in one of Luetin's videos where a Gaunt was taken over by the Hive Mind and he stopped the swarm so that he could go ahead of the swarm as they lined up outside a fortress and he just stared down the commander who knew, just by looking at the Gaunt's eyes that there was something infinite behind them and he could just feel inconceivable amounts of pure hate coming from it. The Commander knew that what he was looking at was the Hive Mind itself before it detached form the Gaunt and the assault continued.
