Agree with most of what you said~. A bit of sharing here: the reason I got a job (or getting attention from recruiters) is joining lots of hackathon/design challenges. I once won a design challenge hosted by NASA and it really took off my UX career. No bootcamp, institutions etc. One course I learnt so far is Google UX course. I remember my intuition telling me that experience working with different stakeholders (PM, developers) is the most valuable thing, following constantly upgrading technical skills (design system, usability testing, etc.)
