I’m not surprised you covered Cilla as you evidently have the same taste as I. I ended up on YouTube showing her Blind Date and Surprise, Surprise last year. I watched all there were available. I just love her! She was perfect for hosting those shows. Kind and funny. I had googled her last year and was able to find a video of her in her gorgeous balcony in Spain. I was heartbroken to read she had passed. She’s been stuck in my mind ever since. Thank you!!!! ❤

She never had the success in the US like some British singers. Most notably, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Mary Hopkin, Marianne Faithful. Her Liverpool ties with the Beatles, and Brian Epstein propelled her fame in England, which was significant. Glad she had a happy homelife and family...which many singers never achieve.
