You could definitely be a nurse educator. This information was very detailed, easy to understand and follow. I start ADN school Monday and L & D or PP are my dream specialties. Thanks for this! ❤️

I love this channel so much. You literally are where I want to be when I graduate next May. You are the first L&D channel I've found on YouTube. Currently binge watching your entire channel.

Just started in L and D about four months ago, not sure I am a fan, the amount of documentation, monitoring, and stress is horrendous and honestly ruins any joy I would get out of seeing babies being born. Looking to probably change to Special Carey Nursery ASAP, as soon as I hit my six month mark and there is an opening, BYEEE! Honestly, I will give it more time just to make sure I truly don't like it, but I generally have an idea early on if I am going to dislike a nursing job.

I am an RN medsurg nurse 2 1/2 years . My goal is to be a l&d nurse or even postpartum. What do you suggest for the transition ? Most places always want experience

As a labor and delivery nurse, can you/ do you sometimes float to postpartum? In my ob rotation there was a nurse who worked on the postpartum floor but she also was the transition nurse sometimes on the l&d floor. I’d like that versatility.

Surprised those nails are allowed at you hospital. When I was working in hospital setting we couldn’t have acrylic or gel nails. Even with gloves it was proven that bacteria collected under nails & issues with patients occurred. Just sayin’
