Observe that one can not fight multiple at once, but by putting the oppenent you're grappling between yourself and the other oppenents (almost human shielding) it severely limits how many can attack at that one moment. Especially when your backside is to a wall.

Non of the attackers were throwing strikes they were all only trying to grab him. I don’t know anything about this guy but what he just did wouldn’t work against six kick boxers

you are one of the the most famous aikidoka，this kind of demo is going to kill many people who try to defend themselves with aikido。whats next？are you going to show the kinfe defense with bare hands on TV？you are a 6 den master and you are too famious，you need to know you have the social responsibility。

aikido training is the way to achieve aiki，not for getting the fighting ability。people who wants to learn how to fight please go to the training system that are designed for fighter。

I am an Aikido practitioner myself and I used to watch the beautiful YT videos of sensei R. After I see him sparring with... (I do not remember his name, but it seems to be the only one whom he sparred with), I am sorry to say... but this is not the Aikido of O-Sensei. At that level you STILL do not work with real fighters!?! How is this POSSIBLE?! YOU are now one of the visible faces of Aikido! You may show videos with 1000 "attackers" who gently "try" to... dance with you but nobody who was even in one real fight would not accept what you show. The Founder really fought (and won) and also said "90% of Aikido is ATEMI" !!! Don't you have ANY respect for his teachings?! Yes, you practice years with/against announced attacks, but not ALL your life! Any MMA student would KO you in no more than a minute (in an enclosed environment, of course)... There are Aikido masters who still study and teach as O-Sensei did (keeping Aikido as a loving AND survival art), but they usually don't show of on YT... You still have time to change your training, but, as a 6(!!!) dan belt... I doubt...
