I agree with it to an extent, because that value is solely determined by us as men and our actions towards women.

I do believe women are born with inherent value because when she is a virgin, just the way she was born never been touched by a man her value is at its highest. Any sort of engagement with a man her value is automatically brought down (as in when she has a child by a man/has had sex with a man or even been married to a man).
