Thank you so much for this. My program still teaches grains. They said it's because some old school doctors might request in grains, the floor nurses told me they have yet to hear of a MD requesting meds in grains. And my instructors like to throw these questions on our semesterly math tests so this is a great refresher.

I just wrapped my brain around the formula type, drip, and Body Surface Area, and now this??!! I do know my Roman numerals..it's the metric conversions that I need to practice..I am a determined student. .so I will arrive! !

Thanks so much for your lecture in dosage calculations. You teach this in much more simpler terms than my instructor does I always go back and review with you. On this grain review however was wondering if you could show us about other grains such as A.S.A. which is considered 65mg or Acetaminophin which is also 65mg. I had a problem stating to find mg from A.S.A. gr iii to miligrams.

I am watching this video because the professor told us she will put grains in the exam next week but just said without explaining it.. like you.. she said we use Roman numerals with 60 or 65 grains 😔🤔
