Quick question, you mentioned the reactions ability, is there a way within Google messages to simply like or love someone's message and be done with it, or is everything strictly emojis ?

Also, is there a way to have the text pop up in a specific window as it comes in, something similar as to chomp SMS? In other words I know it'll pop up on the screen as I'm on my phone, but let's say I don't hear my phone go off, is there a way to see that I have messages without opening the app every time?

Thanks very much -- Well done! The ONE THING I cannot seem to do is set messages NOT delete old messages in 30 days. I often need to refer back to a message -- especially if it has a list or image -- well beyond that automatic 30 limit; 60 days would be much better. Any way to do that (I simply cannot find the setting if it exists)?

What I would like to know is why I can't send a message without it saying that I'm blocked. Or my friends say the same thing when they try sending me a message but yet spam can go through. . ? I have tried everything to fix this. I even just bought a new phone and put my old sim in so I can keep my number. Someone please explain to me what the heck is going on. On iPhone in app notifications don’t make a notification sound every time a new message comes in meaning while the app is open texting back and forth. Is there a way to do that with Google messages. If that makes sense
